Postpartum Doula
Certified Lactation Counselor
Child Passenger Safety Technician

“Sometimes when you pick up your child you can feel the map of your own bones beneath your hands, or smell the scent of your skin in the nape of his neck. This is the most extraordinary thing about motherhood – finding a piece of yourself separate and apart that all the same you could not live without.”- Jodi Picoult

My name is Amnesty, and I am mother to four adorable children. After my youngest son self weaned at 30 months, I realized how much I missed it. Since I wasn’t ready to have another baby, I decided to devote my time to helping other mothers breastfeed their babies instead! I am now a Certified Lactation Counselor with over 11 years of breastfeeding counseling experience.

I have Bachelor’s degrees in Art, Education, and Special Education and spent over 10 years working with children with autism and their families. Working with parents and supporting them to discover the best way to care for their children was always my favorite part of my job. Becoming a doula has enabled me to continue supporting and educating other parents.

I am also a Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician (car seat tech) because I know that all parents want to keep their babies safe, and car seats can be a daunting task! I also have experience in breastfeeding babies with food allergies and managing restricted diets.
