Ever since I can remember I’ve always had an interest in pregnancy and birth, so when my friend and former coworker called me around the end of her pregnancy in 2013 with questions about the “options” she was being given in regards to induction it was no biggie for me to support and advocate for her. Having no formal training at the time, I supported her through the last month of her pregnancy, putting off an induction, and through her labor birth. After that I began attending trainings, retreats and workshops about anything and everything to do with pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding, postpartum, and holistic health. I have since supported women and families through a wide variety of different birth experiences from vaginal hospital births, to surgical birth, to breech birth, to home birth, to water birth, and even free birth. I enjoy talking with my clients about things like mindfulness, nutrition, physical fitness, communication, and all the many factors that come into play while on this journey through life and welcoming new life into this world.
In addition to being a doula, I am a mother of one and currently studying herbology. I enjoy cooking vegan food, yoga, and making natural products.
It would be my honor to walk with and support you on your journey to birth.
My certifications and trainings include:
